This year鈥檚 conversations will be free (donations appreciated) for everyone and will focus on education and wellness through mindfulness and mindful movement. We will be presenting workshops for teachers, counselors, administrators, psychologists, social workers, school staff, yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi practitioners, physical therapists, athletic trainers, dancers, police officers, fire fighters, and anyone in the military. The intent of this event is to call together those interested in mindfulness in their field to meet with others to discuss their work, questions, concerns, share ideas and activities, and to create connections so that ongoing conversations can take place.

The conference begins at 8:30am EST with workshops running from 9:00am EST to 9:00pm EST. Sessions will run for 1 hour with a 15-minute Q&A to follow. Videos for the workshops will be sent to those who register once the conference has concluded.

Call For Proposal of Presentation

We invite you to consider submitting a workshop proposal to present your experiences, ideas, suggestions, and questions for discussion. Whether just beginning your journey or having years of practice, all perspectives are valued. We encourage you to design your workshop to engage others in these discussions. We are asking that each participant to consider:

  • Personal history, experiences and stories
  • Successes
  • Difficulties
  • Recommended resources and links
  • Activities to engage mental, emotions, and physical connections
  • Encourage questions

Registration

Please register in advance if you would like to receive the recordings of the presentations.聽聽The conference is free but donations are graciously appreciated and accepted.聽 A suggested donation of $20 helps support event costs and future programming. The conference schedule with the recording links will be sent to you when the conference has concluded.聽 Members of the 海角论坛 Community, Military (active and retired), Law Enforcement, and First Responders will receive the recordings at no cost if registered.

Call for Submissions: This open-access journal publishes empirical research, program evaluations, practitioner case studies and briefs, implementation reports, policy analyses, resource reviews, and special issues.

Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE)

We will be offering free CTLE credits to those who participate in workshops and provide feedback on each of them. Be sure to indicate your intention when you register.
