Take the first steps on your path as a new college student using the links below. Contact your Admissions Counselor with any questions!

Don’t miss these important deadlines for incoming students!
1. Activate Purple Pass

Activating your PurplePass will provide you with:

  • myNU login (home base for all NU students)
  • Welcome Portal login (one-stop shop for enrollment documents and class scheduling)

For Purple Pass activation, you’ll need your Student ID, found in your acceptance packet.

2. Pay Your Deposit

1. Visit the Application Portal

2. Log in with your original application credentials. If you applied through the Common Application, you’ll need to create an account

3. Confirm your enrollment by making your deposit

3. Complete the Welcome Portal

Complete the Admitted Student Action Items in the Welcome Portal. This will set you up for success as a newly admitted student!

4. Download Niagara's PurplePing App

PurplePing, is º£½ÇÂÛ̳’s app designed to help you stay connected, informed, and supported while you’re on campus.

5. On-Campus Housing

The housing preference form will open on May 1, 2026, in the Portal. Residence Life will email all students who have registered for housing with additional information.

If you have not registered for housing and would like to do so, please contact the Housing Office for assistance.

6. Health Forms

All students are required to complete the health forms.

Please submit all required forms and insurance information to Health Services at least 30 days before classes begin.
